Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Training
Thanks to GB&T, engineers and production teams learn to use a standard language so that parts can be manufactured correctly and function compatibly with each other.
The Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing training helps engineers and production teams adopt a shared language built on technical drawings. The program opens with an overview of the tolerance concept, then covers how manufacturing inputs influence tolerances and the rules and varieties of tolerancing. Surface roughness is examined through its definition, measurement, and representation in drawings to build awareness of surface quality, while dimensional tolerances are reinforced through definition, calculation, and drawing notation exercises. Form and position tolerances are covered through their types, determination using measurement techniques and gauges, and drawing representation, before closing with reading and interpretation practice. Participants leave with a working command of the language that keeps parts manufacturable and parts that fit together correctly.
Understand the concept of tolerances and how to apply them correctly in technical drawings.
