An SQL database is a data management system used to store, organize, and query data.
Users can insert, update, delete, and analyze data using SQL commands.
The SQL Database Training equips participants to design, query and operate relational databases professionally on the SQL Server platform. The program starts with database fundamentals, design and naming conventions and data types, then introduces SQL Server Management Studio, the SQL language and statement types. It moves through table, index, view, stored procedure, trigger and user-defined function creation, table relationships, INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE operations and querying with SELECT including filtering, grouping, JOIN operations and subqueries. Advanced topics cover script creation, security and authorization, indexing and optimization, XML usage, transaction and cursor management.
