Industrial Measurement Training
The first step in ensuring that products in the machinery manufacturing industry meet the desired level of accuracy is performing a correct and reliable measurement process.
The Industrial Measurement training delivers the measurement and inspection methods that safeguard product quality in the machinery manufacturing industry, taught hands-on. Participants begin with the core concepts of dimension, measurement, and inspection, the classification of measuring instruments, and the conditions for reliable measurement. They practice linear measurement with calipers and micrometers, comparative measurement with gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators, and the measurement of physical quantities including surface roughness, pressure, temperature, and hardness. Non-destructive testing methods are used to evaluate product validity, and the program closes with the CMM device - learning its operation, performing coordinate-based measurements, and reading and interpreting the resulting reports. Participants leave equipped to make correct measurement decisions across quality control and production.
