For KidsThematic Workshop Event (Weekend 3D Printer Build Camp)
In this fun 2-day camp, children assemble their own 3D printer from scratch, calibrate it, and print objects they designed themselves. At the end of the camp, the 3D printer is theirs to keep!
16 Hours
This special 2-day weekend camp introduces children to technology in a gamified and hands-on way. Day 1 focuses on mechanical and electronics assembly, while Day 2 covers 3D modeling and production. Each child leaves with a brand-new, boxed 3D printer they built themselves.
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Interactive Presentation: What is a 3D printer and where is it used? (Space stations, prosthetics)
- Material Introduction: What is filament? How does the hot end (nozzle) and print bed work?
