SAP2000 Training

The SAP2000 course teaches modeling, analyzing, and interpreting results for reinforced concrete and steel structures. It also covers structural analysis applications such as earthquake and wind loads, as well as foundation and slab systems.

36 Hours

The SAP2000 Training focuses on modeling, analyzing and interpreting results for reinforced concrete and steel structures. The program opens with foundational applications: 2D and 3D steel truss and space frame models, the reinforced concrete frame module and model preparation in SAP2000 from AutoCAD. Support types, support settlements, foundation models on elastic soil, slab calculations, pool models loaded by water, crane beam models, trapezoidal loads and the application of thermal differences are all worked through with hands-on practice. Preparing dynamic analysis data for a reinforced concrete system is also part of the program. Participants build mastery progressively from basic drawing commands and consolidate their skills with a final project.

Hands-on application topics that reinforce the practical skills taught in this course.
