Software Specialist – Beginner Course

The Beginner Software Specialist Training is designed to bring people new to programming to a level where they can produce both web and Windows applications. The program starts with C# and works through syntax, coding standards, algorithms, Visual Studio usage, data types, conditional statements, loops, error handling, methods, class/struct/enum and an introduction to object-oriented programming. Database integration is covered with ADO.NET and Entity Framework, followed by SQL Server work on tables, views, queries, and INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE operations. Windows application development is taught through Form, TextBox, Button, Label, ComboBox and Checkbox components. On the web side, ASP.NET is covered through application logic, request-response, Web.config, Global.asax and Session/Application/Cookie management. The course closes with an end-of-training project completed under instructor supervision.
